 Formation of Rooikat 76 armoured cars
 Rooikat 105 millimetre armoured cars, this is mainly the export version, however the School of Armour operates a few for training and evaluation.
The 76 version based mainly at 1SSB and The School of Armour, Tempe, Bloemfontein. These replaced our Eland MK7/9 cars wich were based on the Panhard AML 60-7/90 from France.
