Per aspera ad astra - By hardship to the
stars!
The first day of Febuary 2003 will be remembered as the day that 7 brave Astronauts perished while living their dream;

"The same Creator who names the stars also knows the names of the seven souls we mourn today.
The crew of the shuttle Columbia did not return safely to Earth; yet we can pray that all are safely home."
(Speech by Pres. GW Bush, honouring the astronauts)

On board was a crew of seven:
Colonel Rick Husband
Lt.Colonel Michael Anderson
Commander Laurel Clark
Captain David Brown
Commander William McCool
Dr. Kalpana Chawla
Ilan Ramon, a Colonel in the Israeli Air Force
Brave souls all, may their loss drive us to perfect and increase our knowledge of space and technology to the good of mankind.
The date added up to the total of: 01/02/03 = 6 or 01/02/2003 = 2006.
The missions completed to date were 113.
As I do not have any beliefs about the significance of numerology this information is totally meaninglesss to me, what is significant is that human endevour has always come at a price and as such I salute these brave explorers. My sympathies to their loved ones.
